Thanks everyone!

Hey everyone!

I'll try to keep this entry short and sweet. I just want to thank everyone that has favorited or commented on my art these past few years. I know I'm not as community driven as a lot of you are, I just like to put my occasional attempts at creativity up on here for you all to enjoy or demise.

I know I don't comment that often, I'll try to make it a point to do so whenever I can.

Once again, thanks for putting up with me; and I hope you enjoy my stuff in the future.

Help with a Tattoo!

Sat Nov 10, 2007, 6:11 PM
Hey everyone, I know I never write in my blog but I've come to a bit of a standstill. I'm putting this up under the pretense that a fellow artist would actually be interested in helping me out. So without further ado:

I have the ambition of getting a Zelda themed half-sleeve tattoo on my right arm. I have an idea in my head of a scene I want to depict but I have issues with a lot of things. The number one stigma I have is using my own art. It's like the golden rule that artists aren't allowed to like their own art, it's the equivalent of a band listening to their own music all the time in their leisure. Number two is that those who specialize in tattoo art can determine what detail is "tattoo-able" and what isn't. I have a perfectionistic attitude towards it as would anyone, I just don't trust my eye as far as what would look good on the skin and what wouldn't. I'm still currently searching all over for potentially viable reference photos, however the actual objects depicted in the scene wouldn't be copied verbatim so that adds a bit of difficulty to my task.

But yeah, this isn't a plea but moreso an enquiry. In the event that one of the thousands of talented illustrators or tattoo artists happens to stumble across my site and would be interested in helping in some sort of way, it would be greatly appreciated.

Here's hoping.

Sincerely,
Scott
